Junior Fullstack Developer

Learn by shipping useful product work with a small, supportive team that cares about the details.

The role

We are looking for a curious Junior Fullstack Developer who wants to grow by contributing to real web products. You will work with experienced engineers, designers, and QA teammates to turn clear product work into reliable, accessible experiences.

What you will do

  • Build and refine responsive interfaces from product and design requirements.
  • Help implement backend endpoints, data handling, and integrations with guidance from senior teammates.
  • Write, review, and improve maintainable code across the frontend and backend.
  • Work with design to clarify states, interactions, and accessibility details before implementation.
  • Partner with QA to investigate issues, add regression coverage, and support dependable releases.
  • Use AI-assisted tools for research, drafting, and debugging while checking outputs, protecting sensitive context, and taking responsibility for what you ship.
  • Share progress, questions, and risks clearly in a remote-first, asynchronous team.

What we are looking for

  • Some hands-on experience building web applications through study, personal projects, internships, or early professional work.
  • Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and a modern frontend framework.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, HTTP, data modelling, and working with a database.
  • Comfort using Git, reading feedback, and asking focused questions when you are blocked.
  • Clear written English, a collaborative mindset, and care for the user experience.

Useful, not required

  • Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, or another comparable web stack.
  • A small portfolio, GitHub profile, or project you can talk us through.
  • Exposure to automated tests, accessibility practices, or browser developer tools.
  • Experience working from Figma files or alongside product designers.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment, CI, or SQL beyond the basics.

How we work

This is a remote contract role. We use written context, thoughtful feedback, and practical collaboration to keep work moving across time zones. Scope, availability, compensation, and working overlap are discussed directly with shortlisted candidates.
